Multiple Conference Rooms = Multiple CYP Solutions

When re-fitting its offices, a semi-conductor company based in Taiwan approached CYP to help with its video conferencing requirements.  With 1,100 conferencing rooms needing connectivity and control, our team of engineers set about creating three systems that would deliver HD video and audio with simplistic connectivity of source devices as well as options to increase both source and display devices in the future.

After visiting the site, three different sized rooms required high-quality video and audio (small, medium and large).  Across the three input formats (HDMI, VGA and Display Port), the client wanted the larger room systems to be scalable with a possibility of up to 200 source devices, whilst they also wanted keypad control for source switching, volume adjustment and individual control, allowing each participant to select their own input/microphone.

  • To integrated 4 notebook PC with multi formats (incl. HDMI / VGA / Display Port) for switching and  extending 1920 x 1080p high quality video over one Cat.5 cable up to 20M (max. up to 100M)
  • Mirror video output over HDMI for real time monitoring on local PC monitor
  • Audio gain control for audio routing and control the background audio levels
  • Built-in scaler feature to adjust the resolution to fit with output projector or display  
System 2 - Medium Room (up to 8 people)

Advanced 4K HDMI, USB Type C, Display Port, VGA and HDBaseT Presentation Switch

  • Source: 7 x Notebook PC
  • Sink: Projector (with built-in HDBaseT module) & 1 x PC for local monitoring over HDMI
  • To integrated 7 notebook PC which with HDMI / VGA / Display Port input and switching
  • Extending 4K@60 4:2:0 high quality video over one Cat.5 cable up to 20M (max. up to 100M)
  • Mirror video output over HDMI for real time monitoring on local PC
  • Support microphone input ( for both of 5V and 48V phantom power)
  • Integrated with trigger keypad for instant control the source switching, volume adjustment on table
  • Built-in scaler feature to adjust the resolution to fit with output projector or display  
System 3 - Large Room (more than 8 people)

HDMI or VGA Video Transmitter/Extender (4K) over IP/CEC/PoE

 

  • Source: 11 x Notebook PC (should be expand up to more than 200 units of source)
  • Sink: Projector
  • Extending 4K@60 4:2:0 high quality video over HDMI cable to 1.8 M (max. up to 100M)
  • Extending USB mouse and keyboard operation
  • Video routing and system setting could be done on WebGUI
  • Support Mic input
  • Support VGA loopback for local monitoring

Control and Management

  • Manage video distribution and complete / change the setting for all AV over IP Transmitters and Receivers  in same network
  • Get status of individual AV over IP Transmitter and Receiver through master controller
  • Complete FW update through master controller in stead of one by one to complete
  • Video preview includes source preview and zone preview provide video monitoring in control center
  • Integrated with control system center and relay control to control the button in front of participant for participant pressing button to make speech
